Who we are
Ya Trini is a workout and nutrition app published by Saye7 Consulting. Contact: contact@yatrini.com.
The data we collect, and why
| Data | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Account: your email, name and account identifier, from Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple | To create your account and keep your data when you change phone |
| Profile answers: goal, level, age, height, weight, gender, equipment, training days | To build your training plan and your nutrition targets |
| Workouts: exercises, sets, weights, times, personal records | To show your history, your progress and your next workout |
| Nutrition: the meals and foods you log, your water, the foods you search for | To show your daily totals and better search results |
| Body measurements you enter, such as weight, and your notes | To show your progress |
| Messages to the team, a photo if you attach one, and your Instagram name if you give it | To answer you |
| Push notification token, device name, phone system and app version | To send you reminders and our answers |
| App usage (screens opened, buttons used), crash reports, and how you found the app | To find problems and improve the app |
We do not collect your precise location, your contacts or payment data. The app has no advertising. We do not sell your data.
Apple Health and Health Connect
This is optional and off until you connect it in Profile. When connected, Ya Trini saves your finished workouts to Apple Health or Health Connect, and reads your latest body weight. Ya Trini reads nothing else.
The weight we read is saved with your body measurements on our servers, like a weight you type yourself. We use it only to show you your own progress. We never use health data for advertising, never sell it, and never share it with other companies for their own use. It is not in our usage statistics.
You can disconnect at any time in Profile or in your phone's settings.
Camera and photos
The camera is used to scan food barcodes and to take a photo for your workout summary card. The barcode is read on your phone, and these images stay on your phone. Only a photo that you attach to a message to the team is sent to us.
Usage statistics and crash reports
The app sends the screens you open and the buttons you use to Mixpanel and to Google Firebase, and crash reports to Firebase Crashlytics. They are linked to your account identifier, not to your name. These tools estimate your country and city from your IP address.
Older versions of the app (before Ya Trini 3.0) also sent the email of your Google or Apple account with the sign-in events to Mixpanel and Firebase. Ya Trini 3.0 does not.
On Android, Ya Trini 3.0 sends no advertising identifier. On iPhone, the app asks if it may track you. If you say no, Firebase gets no advertising identifier. Ya Trini shows no ads in both cases.
Artificial intelligence
To generate your training plan and the summary of a finished workout, we send your profile answers, the name of the workout and figures from your recent workouts to our AI provider, Anthropic. We do not send your name, your email or your account identifier. We send no photo. Under its terms for business customers, Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
We keep the question sent and the plan received, to check the quality of the plans.
Who processes your data for us
| Company | What for |
|---|---|
| Railway | Database and servers. Your account, workouts and meals are stored in the European Union (the Netherlands) |
| Google Firebase | Sign-in, push notifications, crash reports, usage statistics, app settings sent to the app (Remote Config and Installations) |
| Mixpanel | Usage statistics, stored in the European Union |
| Anthropic | Generation of training plans and workout summaries |
| MotherDuck | A copy of the database for our own statistics. It has no email, no name, no text of your messages to the team, and no photo. It has your feedback and its Instagram name, your measurement notes, your notification token and device name, and our Mixpanel usage events |
| Sentry | Error reports from our servers, without your name or your email |
| Amazon Web Services | Exercise images and videos, in Paris, France. No personal data is stored there |
| Open Food Facts, FatSecret, Edamam | Food search. They receive the text you search or the barcode, and nothing about you |
Google, Anthropic, MotherDuck and Sentry are companies based in the United States. They process data on our instructions and may process it outside the European Union.
Data is encrypted in transit.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app. After a deletion, some records stay without your name or your email, as the next section says.
Delete your account
In the app: Profile → Delete Account. Your account is closed at once and you cannot sign in to it again. Your data stays stored, unused, for 30 days. Then, at most 40 days after your request, we delete what identifies you: your email, your name, your messages to the team and their photos, your notification tokens, your measurement notes and your usage profile at Mixpanel. Your other records (workouts, meals, water, food searches, measurements, profile answers, plans and their names) stay for our statistics, linked to a new random identifier and no longer to you. Usage events at Firebase stay under your old account identifier.
The steps, and how to ask without the app: Delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can object to its use. Write to contact@yatrini.com. In Morocco you can also contact the CNDP (law 09-08). In the European Union you can contact your data protection authority.
Notifications and email
You choose in your phone's settings whether we can send notifications: workout reminders, answers from the team, news about the app. We send no marketing email today. If we start, it will be only with your agreement, and every email will have a link to stop.
Children
Ya Trini is not for children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the app. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we delete it. A parent can write to us to see or delete the data of their child.
Changes
If this policy changes in an important way, we tell you in the app before the change applies.
